The ELCA is a split-off of the Lutheran faith.....and is wildly liberal and outrageously anti-Biblical.
I am born, baptized, confirmed, married and will be buried as a member of the true Lutheran Church, founded by Martin Luther and totally Bible-based, i.e.....the LCMS (Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod).
Our Bible-based, traditionalist brothers and sisters in the Catholic Church know exactly what I'm talking about....the schism happened in their beloved faith, and it is continuing apace under the present Commie Pope.

My first serious girlfriend became an LCMS Deaconess, and I used to listen to KFUO when I lived in St.Louis, so I am pretty well-aquainted with the LCMS. It’s great. I grew up Methodist and am now Orthodox, but if I ever became Protestant again, I would go to the LCMS.
Your Lutheran journey is exactly the same as mine. It’s astonishing how far adrift the ELCA churches have gone. Sad really.
