I read on here all the time that Texas is going to secede but nobody really seems to have an explanation how it’s actually going to happen. Especially since only a trivial percentage of elected officials there seem to be promoting it.
Maybe fining or expelling states that won’t honor the Constitution would be better than leaving them in charge.

While it is nice to dream of, it is literally impossible for a state like Texas to secede, unless one of two conditions are met:
1. Our masters in D.C. agree to it (which they won’t).
2. We get allies, maybe Mexico, to support us.
Short of that, the feds will have NO PROBLEM in bringing Texas to their knees, if they choose to. This is NOT 1861, after all.
