SUZANNE VENKER is the author of five books on the culture’s assault on marriage and the family (and how to circumvent it), as well as a marriage coach and podcast host of The Suzanne Venker Show. For over 15 years, Suzanne has taught women how to succeed with men in life and in love. She’s a leading voice for millions of women and men who know that a partnership with the opposite sex is superior to constant competition. Suzanne’s extensive research, combined with her sound and compelling arguments, dispel feminist myths that have infiltrated society and undermined women’s most important relationships. She has helped women:
• embrace the way men and women are naturally wired
• prioritize marriage and relationships over career
• express their unique value outside the marketplace
• enjoy the power of their femininity in sex and relationships
• build a lasting, satisfying relationship with a man
• build a flexible career that accommodates the needs of children and family life
Suzanne is a former columnist at the Washington Examiner and former contributor at Fox News. Her 2012 article, “The War on Men,” remains one of Fox News’ most read op-eds in history.
Suzanne’s work has also appeared in publications such as Time, USA Today, and the New York Post and has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Newsweek, The Atlantic, Forbes, The Huffington Post and London’s Daily Mail.
Her TV credits include Fox & Friends, STOSSEL, The View, CNN, ABC and more. She has appeared on hundreds of radio programs throughout the country, and her work has been featured on “The Dr. Laura Program,” “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” and “The Rush Limbaugh Show.”
A former English teacher, Suzanne was born in St. Louis, MO, and graduated from Boston University in 1990. After ten years on the East Coast, Suzanne returned to the Midwest, where she now lives with her husband of 23 years and their two teenagers, who are now in college. Nope. Told him to shove it. Or more precisely: “ You can take all the houses, the ChrisCraft, the airplanes, the cash, stocks and bonds and sink them in the Mindanao Trench and the world money supply will never notice.”
Didn’t stay married to him very long. Poor lady now, happy as I’ve ever been, have wonderful friends, live in a town I love, close to my terrific daughter and son-in-law. Love my cat too., bitchy kitty that she is.
Some years ago, in a small house party with a group of conservative political friends sharing drinks and gossip, I overheard a group of older women friends with ties to Schlafly assessing new marriages and prospective son-in-laws “on the five Cs.” I asked what that was, and they looked at me indulgently, as one would the dumbest boy in class asking about subatomic physics. As they explained, the Cs were the indispensable dating and marriage scoring system: conservative, cash, Catholic, compatible, and Caucasian. And their daughters had been trained to require all five before getting involved with any male — who, being male, of course mostly wanted only two things in a woman: good looks and sex.
“””Now beer me and make me a sammich.”””
Those are my vows and I’m
getting married this Saturday.
True Dat. First timer at 58.
I find the inability of many people to accept this a completely baffling thing. Research not only shows it, it is evident.
And it isn't that men are better than women or women are better than men.
Men do some things better than women do, and women do some things better than men do.
In my eyes, it is a Ying/Yang kind of thing. When allowed to, the two sexes dovetail nicely and togther are more powerful, efficient and potent than either of them individually.
The unwillingness to accept this comes most fiercely and predominately (though not universally) from the Left.
I have always enjoyed this humorous and excellent view of the differences in the sexes as described in this video: "A Tale of Two Brains" by Mark Gungor
The reaction from the couples in the crowd fully reveal that most rational people understand this difference innately...:)
Great song, great video.
For me,it was a blind date. I showed up, knocked on the door, a nice girl answered, and her little dog immediately charged to attack me!
Suddenly the dog stopped, planted it’s butt on the floor, looked up at me with this “HI! I LIKE YOU!” and from that moment on the dog and I were best friends.(It had tried to bite other dates she had)
Not long after, I married the dog’s master, the girl.
We had a great marriage for 48 years when she passed away due to IPF. She was not the prettiest girl in the world, but SHE LOVED ME and I returned the love.
When we were married, I did not just mouth the words of the preacher. I spoke them to her from my heart. Over the years some HOT women came into my life, but I always remembered my vows and never cheated. Never.
My mom told me the secret of a happy marriage. “Keep your wife happy!” I did. In all those years we never had a fight although we had some arguments, but nothing like what my dad and mom went through.
After one of their fights, I, as a young teen, personally swore that if I ever got married I would never treat my family as my dad did ours.
It Worked! If I could, I would marry my little girl all over again. Oh I miss her! We were a perfect couple!
I’ve been married 25 years. Best wishes and never give up your man card!
I went to a Dale Carnegie lecture when he was very old. Unforgettable, smart, wise, interesting, charismatic man. Wish he had lived longer.
I’m happy for you that you had such a wonderful marriage and so sorry for your loss.
Deciding ahead of time to hold to those wedding vows and make a difference in the survival of the marriage.
Thank you

Guys
That
Go
Their
Own
Way.
.
Yup, tried it One Time,
ONE TIME.
One and only step: dedicate my life to the Lord Jesus Christ. Let Him make the decisions. Never let anyone come between myself and Christ.
Behold, He delivers a man who can be sanctified by the waters of marriage, and vice versa.
Only one step.
“Bitchy Kitty”,
Perhaps I’ll get a Cat and
Name it That!
Thanks.
What about Melania?
Wingmam would agree
Her name is actually DaisyJane. She’s a tri-colored tabby. On her first visit to vet as a tiny kitten, vet laughed. “She’s very smart and very fierce.” Boils down to bitchy kitty. Do go get one. And lots of bandaids.
It’s sort of a game of Survivor around here. We’re always trying to outsmart, outwit and outplay each other. Never a dull moment. Love her to pieces though. Good thing, or she’d be homeless. And I’d cry forever.
