Tucker makes a scathing attack on the January 6 committee’s Soviet-style show trial and he reserves special, and deserved, contempt for Liz Cheney.
Tucker Carlson was on fire Tuesday night, for he launched a scathing attack on the grotesque show trial taking place in the House of Representatives, ostensibly to expose the “truth” about the “insurrection” on January 6 but, in reality, to destroy political enemies and preempt Trump’s effort to regain the White House in 2024. To frame the attack, Tucker lit into Liz Cheney, and a more deserving target it’s hard to imagine.
The monologue opens with Tucker pointing out that, for unexplained reasons, Liz Cheney showed up in Manchester, New Hampshire, last month. Well, unexplained only if you don’t know that it’s the place people go when they’re investigating running for president.
To normal people, Liz Cheney’s constituency for a presidential run is a bit of a mystery. Trump supporters despise her and Democrats do too—although they’re perfectly happy to use her to attack Trump.
However, it seems that Cheney is raking in millions of dollars, so someone supports her. Tucker suggests that her supporters are political “dynamos” such as Mitt Romney, Lindsey Graham, and Jeb Bush. To Tucker, these are all neocons who live to get Americans involved in wars that kill and maim our sons and daughters without conferring any benefit on America. Looking back on the last 20 years, I must agree.

when Tucker was discussing Jan 6 recently (not today’s segment), he mentioned Ashli Babbitt and said Michael Byrd was security for Liz Cheney.
i haven’t got time to look for the clip just now, but I have been wondering if he meant specifically or generally in that Byrd is a Capitol police officer.

The intemperate Wyoming Representative Liz Cheney is on a hate-filled kamikaze mission to attack the base of the political party she abhors. {Direct Rumble Link Here}
Previously, Alaska Senator Lisa Murkowski set the low bar for contempt against the Tea Party movement, however, this week Liz Cheney says ‘hold my beer’ and goes all in against the MAGA base. Ugly is as ugly does – inside and outside.
(WaPo) – Rep. Liz Cheney’s disclosures of intriguing Jan. 6 text messages between Mark Meadows and both Donald Trump Jr. and Fox News personalities are the big news in the committee’s investigation right now. But don’t lose sight of what Cheney said immediately after she read those texts aloud.” (more)
Deep State alum Ms. Liz Cheney is desperately trying to use her position on the ridiculous January 6th committee to gain position inside the DC system. As a person with no redeeming qualities, the DC swamp is about the only place where her unlikable lawfare skills still have some marketing viability.
As the Washington Post notes, Cheney is desperate to attach some element of criminal lawbreaking to President Trump. Cheney was pointing to a specific criminal statute — a felony, 18 U.S. Code § 1512 — that she suggests President Donald Trump violated.
Cheney’s comment matches the language of the statute. It states, “Whoever corruptly … obstructs, influences, or impedes any official proceeding, or attempts to do so, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than 20 years, or both.” That law defines an “official proceeding” as including “a proceeding before the Congress.”
Is there a more self-centered, arrogant, smug and narcissistic member of the current Republican Party? I cannot think of one.

So…… as far as the Jan 6th panel, and I am not following it closely.
Has anybody demonstrated an defined effort, organized by those in government or outside of government, to have people personally attacked that are Congresspeople? Have they obtained such evidence by illegal search and seizure? Have they just done illegal search and seizure and have nothing?
Has the US government released the video of the Capital Police actions, since there is more than 140,000 hours, to be reviewed by the public? Do we have autopsy reports for individuals whom were reported to have been trampled? We’re they beaten to death while in a legal protest zone by communist jackboot Pelosi thugs, and their bodies moved by the murderers to cover up? Do we know why Trumps request for national guard and extra security was refused by Pelosi?
Is there now a understanding that if pro-Constitutional protesters come back to the capital that they should plan outright war because the government isn’t listening to unarmed peaceful protesters unless they are left wing communists? Have the protestors had access to reasonable bail, council, and hearings?
Have these topics been covered and addressed by Liz Cheney? Does anybody know the answers to these questions based upon this commission?

Today’s segment he specifically said ‘ the police officer who shot Ashley Babbitt was Cheney’s ‘

I heard that reference that Michael Byrd was security for Liz Cheney. I have also herd references that he was security for Schumer. I wonder if Capitol Police officers are assigned to security detail for congress members.

So, she authorized the killing and now continues the hit jobs against political enemies.

“Most recently, the committee got hold of various texts from Fox News hosts to Mark Meadows.”
One of those texts to Meadows was from Donald Trump Jr.
It is puzzling, alarming(?) that Don Jr. cannot get a text through to his own father unless he goes through the chief of staff. Just goes to show, the chief of staff idea is way overdone. Trump’s most loyal confidantes would be his sons.

Are the Republicans planning a counter=rally to the one the Democrats have planned for Washington on January 6?
To: MtnClimber
McCarthy needs to state publicly that Cheney is no longer a welcomed member of the House Republican conference.
She is intentionally undermining the party leader, Trump, and all conservative Republicans. If he doesn't kick her out, then why give him the majority? It indicates he is not the leader we need.

I thought Tucker meant he was guarding her as a Capitol police officer. This was my interpretation, too.
