I would argue that the "heroes" in movies aren't even real heroes. They're just warmed-over secular archetypes who transition very easily into non-binary, rainbow warriors.

Want to make something super-popular that will make a bazillion dollars? Make the equivalent of a 50 episode South Korean historical drama (something like Immortal Yi Soon Shin, or Empress Ki, or Jumong, if you're familiar with any of those), except based on western history. No porn. No gross vulgarity. No stupid anti-Christian political garbage. Imagine such a series on the First Crusade? Or the life of Constantine? Or the reign of Justinian? And make it freely available at first, like The Chosen. Such a production would be a smash hit.
