The media is doing their best to deflect the blame for high inflation from Biden and his policies

When the AP and other media outlets talk about the causes of inflation, somehow, they miss the elephant in the room.

When the AP and other media outlets talk about the causes of inflation, somehow, they miss the elephant in the room: energy policies.

Since day 1 of his presidency, Biden has set out to destroy oil companies and reduce production. This policy alone has contributed significantly to the price spike in energy prices -- and those high prices flow through the entire economy as they affect all prices. The high energy prices especially harm the poor, middle class, and small businesses, who the media and other Democrats pretend to care about. If Biden and the Democrats focus on the destruction of the fossil fuel industry, without scientific evidence, the price spikes will not be transitory, they will compound.

The rate of inflation will naturally slow from the huge spike this year, but the high prices will continue to do great harm unless Biden and the Democrats go back to producing more oil, which they won’t.

Government lockdowns destroyed a lot of small businesses. When others were permitted to reopen by benevolent politicians, they not only had to compete against other businesses for employees, but they also had to compete against high supplemental unemployment benefits paid by the federal government. Therefore, they had to raise wages to higher levels than a free market would cause. These higher wages are not transitory and lead to much higher inflation because they will cascade through the economy.

What do you expect with idiots driving the bus and RINOs refusing to put on the brakes?

Worse than that.

Bidung coached the media to characterize any criticisms of him as “a danger” to democracy.

Good thing we’re a republic ...not a democracy......snx.

Your point is correct....you could go and test the 435 House members on the economy and basic finance...I doubt if 10-percent of them would be capable of running a regular business or controlling an operation of 100 employees.

That’s part of the overall problem. You can go and ask Biden the last time he walked into a grocery store, and it’s probably been 20 years. He has no understanding of the working-class American.

On Thursday, more than five dozen liberal groups sent a letter to key media stakeholders urging more balanced coverage of the 46th president. In it, organizations condemned what they consider the “pervasive pattern of under-reporting and negative bias toward the actions and agenda of this administration.”

“Please consider and swiftly address your role in promoting this widespread, destructive pattern of reporting,” the letter states. “Not only is it doing harm to our democracy, but it is also harming your reputation as journalists and that of the news outlets you represent.”

My mom went out grocery shopping yesterday and came home almost screaming she was so mad at FJB & his regime .... whatever the media is trying to do, IT’S NOT WORKING. John & Jane Q Public are feeling it in their wallets big time. Low income folks are going to have a hard time putting groceries on the table. My folks are on a fixed income and the higher prices for everything MATTER to them.

So the media can try blowing smoke up everyone’s @ss where FJB & the state of the country is concerned, but the normies in America aren’t buying it. Oh, one more thing .... she came to me last night, livid at all the lying going on (Taiwan/map kerfluffle) - she/dad watch FOX ... when you’re 99 & 88 & you’ve canceled the Leftist rag local paper, for them FOX is their source of ‘news’ (they’re glad Chrissy Wall@ss is gone).

The Biden energy policy is probably the chief reason why the Democrats, RINOs, & the media get called every dirty name in the book. It’s because there seems to be no other way to aptly describe them. They are put in place to serve the people & they are trying to do the exact opposite; rule the people. I think if one went back far enough in history, they would find that many of them could be executed for treason. The laws are a little different now, but maybe they should not have been changed. The sight of a man hanging from a gallows is a pretty convincing object lesson to others who would think of repeating the same crime.

I will take the honest approach. Is this inflation really the cause of joe Biden only. The super mega Covid help assisted in this impact and the Covid loans, grants …. We flooded the market with $$$$ and expect nothing. It’s on everyone since 1988. Just my opinion.
