A 13-year boy got a Covid-19 shot at the Barack Obama Global Prep Academy in south Los Angeles without consent of his mother Maribel Duarte. The mother told TV that they vaccinated her son without consent by bribing him with pizza.
“The lady that gave him the shot and signed the paper told my son, ‘Please don’t say anything. I don’t want to get in trouble,'” the mom also told TV. She also showed card that reveals that her son accepted the Covid-19 shot at school.
The Los Angeles Unified School District said student matters are private and confidential and they do not want to comment on the matter. But the district noted that its “safe schools to safe steps incentive program” is designed to get steps in place for vaccinated students to receive prizes.
As per reports, a school administrator said that the claim of mother is false that “more often than not parents will lie about the whole vaccine issue.” LAUSD mandated a Jan. 10 vaccination deadline. This is applicable for students who are 12 years of age or older.
Those students who will not get Covid shot, or students who do not have a legal exemption, will be forced into online learning or virtual classes. The district added that 80% students have been vaccinated as of the Thanksgiving break.
Duarte told KNBC TV that she has already been vaccinated and she is not against it, but its not same with her son as he has allergy and asthma issues.
“It hurt to know he got a shot without my permission, without [me] knowing and without signing [me] any papers for him to get the shot,” she noted to KNBC.
An attorney, Jennifer Kennedy is closely monitoring the cases against LAUSD over the vaccine mandate. He told TV that California minors cannot consent to covid-19 shot.
“The LAUSD does not have the power to add a vaccine to the California school schedule,” Kennedy told KNBC. “You couldn’t do it if you were a podunk school district, and you can’t do it if you’re LAUSD, the second-largest district in the nation. You don’t have that legal authority.”
Recently, Vietnam’s Thanh Hoa province suspended using Pfizer’s Covid-19 vaccine batch after more than 120 students were hospitalized after the vaccination.
Meanwhile, a major new study has found that not one healthy child in Germany from ages 5 to 18 died of COVID-19 during the first 15 months of the pandemic debunking COVID shots for kids.
The study further found that the chances of a healthy child aged 5-11 would requiring intensive care for COVID were about 1 in 50,000.
According to another disturbing new study, social distancing, facemaks and other such COVID rules are responsible for causing a 23% decline in children’s cognitive abilities. The study also found a similar reduction in the development of children’s communication skills, both verbal and nonverbal.
