I was never very good with grammer; there are rules upon rules with a whole list of exceptions. And proof is this thread and done get me started with what “sounds right”. What sounds right is what you often hear, which can be technically wrong.

What drives me crazy is the horrendous syntax:
“Me and my sister went to town.” Arrrgh! Did people not learn ANYTHING in school?!?
So ...
my sister went to town and
me went to town.
Take out the and part and eliminate the other entity. There’s your answer.
You can use either and add in Embiggen.
They are perfectly cromulent words....
