I’ll say two things about this. First, it’s only occurring in major urbanized cities where anti-vax demonstrations are going on. The other 99-percent of Germany? No....no one measures anyone’s distance.
Second, as long you attend the demonstrations and just keep moving along (not being stationary)...the cops are at a disadvantage in getting an accurate measurement. The cops have been given a clear political order (from the city leadership) to ‘handle’ this and the ‘stick-game’ is about the only tool left in their bag of tricks.
The sad thing here is that if you did German translation and tried to identify the police...the German word that comes out is ‘Messpolizei’ (measurement police). It just comes across as a joke in the end.
