I grew up in a Baptist Church, went to Baptist schools. Dad was a Deacon and my Dad is a preacher in his retirement as a general contractor. The nastiest people I have ever met were "religious". That's the reason I am atheist.
Read he’d get 20 yrs for each count....he’s going away for awhile....but as I see it the entire family is screwed up.
Adults never consider their children in the criminal activities they plan and carry out. Never. And this particular family is no different than any other of those in the cesspool of celebrity.
I have a niece who was victim of childhood kidnapping/rape. The man was found guilty, released on appeal, less than a month later he kidnaps and kills another little girl in the next town over. He finally got the needle in New Mexico prison after decades of appeals. So I had to ask.
oh i’m aware. and Catholics still give them $$.
They recently caught many in the New Jersey districts.....it’s just never ending.
Yes, I understand.
I’m 62 years old, I’ve been saved for over 30 years, I’ve been in a Baptist Church environment the entire time, and the nastiest people I ever met were unsaved people who like to falsify claims against bible-believing Christians.
I sincerely hope he gets put in general. Get ALL that prison love.
I sadly do understand why now. One of the investigators said it was some of the most disturbing stuff he’d seen & that he had seen a lot.
The titles made my skin crawl.
Thats pretty much it in a nutshell.
If I watched or even heard in detail about the actual porn I would be scared for life.
I know his wife left the court room when they started showing the porn.
Pray for the jurors and all the others that had to witness the child porn. I’m sure they will need therapy and it should be paid for by the government. I doubt any of them wanted to be there.
You are absolutely correct. I imagine that seeing that would work on your mind.
I used to say that, but I have met people who were WAY worse since! LOL I never had a good opinion of Baptists, mostly because I grew up in the South and was a Catholic - southern protestants are, or used to be, very anti-catholic.
None of this necessarily disproves my point, however: Perhaps you never knew a truly religious person of faith and everyone around you was just taking advantage of the social situation. That’s what it always seemed like to me! (I used to do fortunetelling over the phone, right? And some of the calls we would get from religious folks on Sunday or Monday morning were truly hair-raising!)
Religion is often sadly used as a shield. “Gaming the system” came from a time when organized religion was “the system.”
