How do you repeal something you never passed?
Had Trump issued such a mandate, congress would have RIGHTFULLY impeached, and the Senate would have RIGHTFULLY CONVICTED!
It is a shot across the bow.
The left made it a mandate and they are going to lose.
If the Senate voted 52-48 to repeal, why would it go back to the House ??
The House is never going to vote on this. Nancy Pelosi will make sure of it.
Since when did this become a law? Was it attached to some pig pork bill in the past? If not..
No state is bound by ANY EO.
As usual, the big dog and pony show.
The House voted to spend $200 M on vaccine passports, basically giving a waiver for one specific purpose, to give to bureaucrats the power to regulate.
Congress can also choose not to appropriate any money to enforce the mandate EO.
But it is a show vote since the House will not vote on it and even if they did and it passed, Biden would veto it, so as usual, nothing changes.
No one said it was a law, but any EO can be overturned by Congress. The president does have the authority to make rules for executive branch employees as any CEO would have to make rules for their organization - but the rules can’t be unconstitutional, so it will be settled by the courts, in which I have little confidence.
The two Dems voting yes were Manchin and Tester of Montana
I think there was no EO.
Biden said he wanted it and OSHA wrote the rules.

JOINT RESOLUTION
Providing for congressional disapproval under chapter 8 of title 5, United States Code, of the rule submitted by the Department of Labor relating to "COVID-19 Vaccination and Testing; Emergency Temporary Standard".
Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That Congress disapproves the rule submitted by the Department of Labor relating to "COVID-19 Vaccination and Testing; Emergency Temporary Standard" (86 Fed. Reg. 61402 (November 5, 2021)), and such rule shall have no force or effect.
Those who do not vote for this should set a good example and go get a hundred booster shots...
How do they repeal something they never voted on?
Many other states would be happy to have those health care workers. The sane and open states should provide incentives to get workers fired over these worthless “vaccines” to move to their states and work.
