I understand. I’ve written dozens of research papers and reports. The very first thing you do when mentioning an acronym is to define what that acronym means. Then you’re free to throw it around all over your paper or study all you want in acronym form. Here, I’d take it to mean Low Energy Nuclear Reaction. But that’s just me...

I updated the Cold Fusion ping blurb, adding this:

Acronyms:
LENR: Low Energy Nuclear Reactions. [Also Lattice Enabled Nuclear Reactions, but seldom used]
CANR: Chemical Assisted Nuclear Reactions [fallen into disuse along with LANR/Lattice Assisted Nuclear Reactions]
CMNS: Condensed Matter Nuclear Science
LCF: Lattice Confined Fusion [NASA’s term for it]
