20% less productivity. 20% less pay. 20% less taxes collected.
Don’t think they have thought this thru, only playing to the impulse of “he!!, yeah, I only want to work 4 days.” But when bills can’t be paid they all wish they had that 20% pay cut back and in a hurry.
Having worked in the Federal government for 28+ years the majority of them could probably drop back to a 16hr work week with no noticeable difference.
