When you're a world-class vocalist, you should be "brave" enough to perform live, without a net. That's what people want to see and hear—not some clumsily mimicked studio idealization.
I wonder if they used autotune too! You know—just to make sure everything was pitch perfect.
Bublé was obviously lip-syncing, replete with a turned-off microphone. One likely reason it looked so obvious is because Michael probably hasn't had much practice at it!
It was a mockery of two travesties of a sham, IMHO. Lip-syncing is for boy band has-beens who can't even sing anymore—not Michael Bublé. Or so I thought...
