If it’s anything like Hale-Bop... It will be exciting and interesting and Hale-Bopp won’t return until 4385.. If it isn’t... It’s a dud.
Like this one, it was discovered earlier that year. Unlike this one, it was hyped to the extreme, with some calling it the "comet of the century". It didn't quite live up to that however.
Let's hope that we have a different scenario this time, an underhyped comet that turns out to be a spectacular one.
