“Going into a city is just shocking in the sound department,” Wayne said. “I get kind of jangled up inside … the noise starts to get to me...”

City noises are horrible. Who knows, but city noise may lead to mental illness and leftism. I wonder if most people have destroyed their hearing from youthful loud music. Mid-60s and I always carry earplugs to block disturbing city noise and loud noise, even contemporary music in churches.

I haven’t lived in a city since I was a little kid; grew up in Milwaukee, WI.

We moved to the ‘burbs when I was ten - relatively quiet, very safe. We rode our bikes or walked wherever we needed to go.

As an adult, I’ve lived on two different farms for the past 28 years and I don’t see that changing until they carry me out feet-first! ;)
