I am scheduled to get both shingles shots. I did not know it was two shots—thought only a single shingles shot. Now I am concerned that if they find I have yet to be vaccinated, that they may try sneek in a jab on me. How can I prevent that?
I had shingles a couple years ago. It was ... unpleasant. So, since I didn’t want to get it a second time, I figured I’d get the shingles vaccine. But because of COVID, I’m not taking any vaccines. I don’t trust the doctors these days. I’ll take my chances with shingles.
You can’t be vaxxed without your consent. No one is going to set themselves up for a lawsuit over this. Be forewarned about the shingles vaxx: I got it and was sick as a dog. I recovered just fine but it was NOT pleasant.
I have 2 brothers - both got shingles shot #1 & it was so unpleasant, neither are going back for shot #2 - I was present when they were talking about it with each other. One of the brothers had a case of shingles a while back & still won’t get the 2nd shot. Just be aware the shots can be “not fun”.
