OMAHA, Neb. (KPTM) — An Omaha man is facing attempted first-degree murder charges after investigators say he appears to be on video choking a two-year-old girl, according to an affidavit filed with Douglas County Court.

I’ve got a twist to this story, that really infuriated me at the Mother. The Dad/Boyfriend/Drug supplier—whatever was arrested in 2012 for torturing a baby boy. So the Mom knew of his background (likely) and still put her innocent baby girl in harms way. The creep got 52 years, the mom should get 5 years hard time.
It’s time to start punishing the enablers and not just the perps IMO. (Just like in the Crumbley case)

Not everyone researches the person they connect with. You certainly aren't under the impression that he told her about his actions, are you?
You remind me of some prosecutors, who decide they have it figured out and then run with what they decided happened.
The mother is the one who found the video evidence and turned him in, not what you call enabling behavior. She saved her daughter’s life by snooping on the BF phone.

My heart is so broken and sickened, and angered. There are literally no words to describe the pain in my bv heart over this.
Women murder millions of children in this country every year and nothing happens to them.
We live in a sick society.
I wish we could establish a GoFundMe to raise $ to pay someone to exact justice for this child. The stone cold criminals who abhor crimes against children and will exact justice with a blow torch and a pair of pliers.

Maybe in this particular case she didn’t know about him breaking bones, burning a baby boy by torture 8 years ago. I doubt that but maybe.
