A saw a Royal Enfield a couple of months ago. Also made in India. Not by Mahindra, though.
Mahindra advertised on the Rush Limbaugh show some time during the last few years, IIRC.
Yes, they sell small tractors all over the place...................
Royal Enfield is a huge bike maker for obvious reasons.
A couple of years ago RE North America decided to make a real push here. They have gone after a neglected segment of the market. Their 650 vertical twins are an aggressive shot at that segment. Pretty nice bikes for the money. And to show their commitment, the bikes come with 3 year unlimited mileage warranty AND free 3 year road service. That is unheard of for bikes.
I test rode one when I was getting my Scout serviced. Interesting bike (my first bike was a BSA Lightning). I do have a soft sport for vertical twins. There were some tweaks I would do if I got one, but for the money there is a lot of potential. Personally, I would like to see them bumped up to 750cc or 800cc.
