Did they use up all the real estate with the Four Wide Dromedaries Track ? Because that sure is one skinny layout of a Track.
This is the last race of the season isnβt it ? Time to line up the Happy Pills βΉοΈππ³π±ππ€π

Do they spray fake champagne on the podium in SA?
To: Chode
I have seen some hype that the track construction includes a new type of surface that will provide more than ordinary grip. This could make low downforce and tire management a favored strength. If so the Ferrari will easily outpace McLaren. Also, this may make the Red Bull more competitive against the mercs than the conventional wisdom tells us.

some say no
βI think itβs going to be very complicated from a driving point of view and there will be the extra challenge of the track surface being completely new. No cars have ever raced on it, there will be no rubber down and probably some oil will still be coming out of the Tarmac, which is what normally happens at a new circuit. So, we are looking at a street circuit with quite low grip, which is a new challenge as no one has any data from the track.β said Gasly.

https://youtu.be/hsrme-So-s8 Discussion from the track constructor on the formulation of the asphalt. It could be a sales job. Gasly and others saying they expect greasy could be red herrings.

The bitumen will be sourced locally so it will have a high Sulphur content. It will be hard.
