WASHINGTON – Mayor Lori Lightfoot is in DC through Friday, kicking off her visit on Tuesday night with a dinner Sen. Dick Durbin, D-Ill., hosted for the delegation in his Capitol office, and – to my surprise – since usually only Democrats show up at this sort of thing – in walked GOP Rep. Rodney Davis.

I just moved out of Davis’ district to Indiana.
Davis is a political chameleon. Some days you love him and some days you hate him.
I voted for him when his opponent was even more disgusting than him.
But you get what you deserve, and Illinois voters don’t deserve a solid, principled conservative leader.
