The shopping carts have never been sanitized. Maybe rub the handle with a wipe for show. The grocery store is one of the most germed places in America. One reason I do the shopping is to keep my immune system tuned up.

But, hey, let's wear masks and pretend that might do something. Or, better yet, replace sanitary plastic bags with germed up cloth bags. And pretend this is science.

Yes, I noticed. But most grocery stores, at least around here, still have the dispenser with the wipes so you can do it yourself.

I usually do these days, not because of Covid, but because I don’t know who’s poopy little rug rat was sitting in there with his snotty little fingers. Or who used the cart, but hadn’t washed their hands after their last trip to the rest room.
