So the New Jersey legislature tried to impose a vaccination mandate for members of the state Senate and the state Assembly to enter the State House. The GOP minority is seeking an injunction against the mandate in court (they won a TRO) so far. The Democrat majority was unsuccessful in persuading the state police to enforce the mandate earlier this month.
Now, Governor Murphy has called out the NJ National Guard to construct what appears to be vaccine check points and a cordon at the State House. IMO this presages an eventual attempt by Murphy to create / enforce a NJ state vaccine mandate.
