Okay....more info than we ever wanted, on pie crust making....this article (and, short vid, at link) explains all the different fats you can use, and, which one they prefer, for flaky pie crusts....

Wow, I have never made it with butter. I use Irish butter, I bet that would be so good.

Those were all my Mothers tips, I shared.

I love making my pies with MacIntosh apples but cannot find them anymore.

I have a different filling than Judy, really good, but, I have never won prizes, lol.

But, people used to say I should sell them.
