Happy New Year, dear s&sf!
Heck, no! We’ve had a YUGE day…we’re all together at our lake place. Grands have played in the water, then we grilled steaks, made s’mores and then fireworks.
They fell asleep soon after. Just had a lovely 🥂 with the kids.
Tried watching the NY NYE show. It’s horrible 😂

Our plans were cancelled - mix of ice and snow on roads. We had a virtual dinner with our friends by sharing what we would have brought to the New Year’s gathering.
Even told one friend we bought a box of Pixies for her, but ate it.
My sister had some excitement. She opened the back door and called for her beagle to come in for the night. He scurried up the stairs, jumped into his My Pillow bed. She had never seen him run so fast!
She discovered he had brought in a headless rabbit and was gnawing on it.
My sister was a bit leery that he might nip her if she took it away,so she threw a blanket over his head and started yanking on the rabbit (or should I say, what was left of the rabbit). He wouldn’t let go.
She twisted and turned until apparently his teeth got tired (He’s a 15 year beagle). The rabbit is now in the dumpster and the beagle is minus a My Pillow Bed.
What a night!

We started getting a little snow day after Christmas then yesterday it snowed most of the day.
Tonight is going to be real cold. 6° I am just going to crawl into bed. No celebrating for me.
