Could it possibly be an allergy to Monosodium glutamate, known as MSG?
Have a son, who is asthmatic, that is allergic to it and has a hard time eating in restaurants.
MSG is in so much of our processed foods. It is a natural ingredient but it is not healthy. If you look on the list of ingredients and it just says “spices” it probably has MSG in it slightly below the threshold where it would be required to be listed on its own.
MSG is definitely in everything!
I never add salt to anything when it comes to prepared or fast foods.
I really miss cooking meals but alas have no time and cooking for one is so boring and wasteful!
I use to do this and freeze left-overs.
So costly and time consuming.
