Actually I haven’t baked a thing. But I am done with shopping, I just sent a package to California. Our little Charlie Brown tree doesn’t have much under it, hubby is so hard to buy for. The last few years every time I buy bought something he returned it I might as well not bother. We’re at the age where if we want something we just get it.
It’s supposed to be in the sixties tomorrow, so I’m going to take Cooper over to a park that just opened up in Johnson City. It has a couple of miles of trails. Then I’ll stick the ham in the oven and take him in the forest behind us. I feel so blessed, I just love this house and the location. Even though there’s typically noise all the time :-) but I found out the property with 65 acres behind us had been logged, that’s why there’s so many roads all over it. So we sneak over there and have some blissful walking, I wouldn’t even call it hiking, where we don’t encounter anybody. So far every time we’ve gone I’ve found a new Road. It’ll take years to memorize the layout I think. The dump’s thinking of buying that land, so I just try to enjoy it as long as I can.
My traveling dinner came back. Since we’re not going anywhere, my SIL sent it back with my bro.
Except the linzertorte. That is gone. Consumed already. Divvied up and gobbled down.
Maybe my dad will share his. If I see him.
