I let one go on too long and I felt so bad about it, that I have promised my other pets that I will let them tell me when they are ready to go and do it. I would rather be in pain myself than have let my adored pets suffer one moment more than necessary. They are my “kids”!
Yes, to a certain degree. But most, if not all the unemployment benefits have gone away a few months ago. Maybe they were able to save it & didn’t go back to work. Thus they dropped off the rolls & the rate went down. I suppose that could be the cause.
I just don’t know how people who had to work pay bills before, don’t need to work now that the unemployment comp has ended,. The number of job openings doesn’t seem to be dropping.
Maybe I’m thinking Ontario. We’re still handing out money to anyone who wants to stay home because of Covid.

Remember when the Left said that a gay couple had been oppressed and excluded from society because one bakery in one town in Colorado didn’t make them one type of cake? Now all unvaccinated people can be barred from all services and all establishments and it’s totally fine.

Got a few last minute gift certificates taken care of......whew....it’s crazy-town, out there. One lady wasn’t paying attention, and backed right out of her parking spot, into my path. I tapped the horn, but, she kept coming. I had to hurry and reverse a bit....after making sure no one was behind me 😜
She never did even look around. Clueless.

What I hate most is they can’t tell me when they hurt. I depended on the veterinarians to tell me what dose of pain meds and how often they give. But then they always added that I could give more or less, but with my cats they don’t tend to show pain. I can tell with cotton now because she limps. But corduroy with his liver cancer he didn’t really do anything different. I hate thinking that they were in pain and I didn’t give them enough.

That’s what I thought also. That way it doesn’t look as bad. Around here people survive doing our jobs, things under the table. Of course that includes drug deals.

Sometimes you’re better off not knowing. I just state a few facts about the vaccines, because some people don’t hear anything except the vaccine pushing government. Then what they decide is ok with me.
The thing with my grandson is, his mom is well aware of the dangers of this vaccine and does not want it for her kids. She said the school dropped the mandate, so she hopes that is why he didn’t give her the paperwork.
This cold weather put me in the mood to bake. I might check her kitchen to see if she has ingredients to make banana bread. If not I picked up a brownie mix, I can make with granddaughter when she gets home from school. My daughter has to work tonight.
