The military aid will be five-fold the current deployment and could be a big boost to hospitals that have been running on fumes for two years.
There are currently 175 troops spread over four states, and since August 2021, when a joint military operation across the Army, Navy and Air Force began, about 530 medical military personnel have been deployed to work alongside civilian health care providers.
Noticeably missing from the new government efforts will be any attempts to enact further restrictions or lockdowns — which some European countries have opted for as omicron has swept through their populations.
It will not be a speech about “locking the country down,” Psaki said at a press briefing on Monday afternoon.
“This is a speech outlining and being direct and clear with the American people about the benefits of being vaccinated, the steps we’re going to take to increase access and to increase testing and the risks posed to unvaccinated individuals,” Psaki said.
Psaki also said Biden would deliver a “stark warning” for those that choose to remain unvaccinated.
“For those who choose to remain unvaccinated, he’ll issue a stark warning and make clear unvaccinated individuals will continue to drive hospitalizations and deaths,” she said.

Heavens no. We all had the same thing, exact symptoms, time span, etc. My son’s friend was the only one who went and got tested. None of us cared enough. It was a short-lived head cold with a cough that persisted until it got productive. Cleared in a matter of days....a week at most.
None of us trust the “tests” and wouldn’t bother with them. Plus, I can almost guarantee they’d be positive, as they’re in the throes of jacking up the numbers.
And just in time for the one-year anniversary of Jan. 6th, the worst day in American history since Pearl Harbor, yeh right!!!

supposedly that breed fares better in cold weather. When they lived in Texas she had to keep him in when it was real hot. But he’s got arthritis and for humans cold makes it worse.
Is Ted’s oldest daughter a teen or almost a teen?

I just hated it when I tried to take a picture of the grands when they were that age.
They always managed to ruin the picture, that is if I could even get them to be in one.
One grand-daughter, that was especially egregious, was bemoaning that she was in hardly any pictures.
I reminded her of why and she apologized for being such a brat.

I agree. These free tests they plan on mailing out are probably made to test positive.
I haven’t checked my mail. The daughter is probably at that age they shy away from publicity.

Ha! I remember friends spent a bundle one year getting a large family picture done. All had new matching outfits, dressed up very lavishly, hair done, hired photographer, the whole nine yards. One girl, in a sea of suits and lovely dresses, stood alone. She had long scruffy hair, jeans ripped at various places (as is that stupid style), a hat pulled down over her messy hair like a tuna fisherman, dirty jacket, no socks and dirty old running shoes.
She would have been asked to sit out if it was my picture. If she didn’t want to comply and act half decent, she makes it clear that she doesn’t want to be included in a nice family picture anyway. Is there no point at which you tell them to stay home until they grow up?
