You wanna play 'jump rope'?
I didn’t realize that part of the thread was a year old. Somebody has resurrected it.
That is what I was thinking. Now being a decent person comes in the mix, just later:)
I’ve been married to this girl since 1972. I’m starting to think she may be the one.
understand that they will never see a bigger selection of good guys than the pool of guys in college. And marrying within a year of graduation maximizes the high-fertility period for having kids
There is no longerabig poolof college guys.
I suspect that their definition of "successful dating strategy" involves separating men from their assets with the minimum effort.
Cue Meatloaf
Two outta three ain’t bad
He is finally dating a level headed young woman however there were far too many turkeys
What I said was "they will never see a bigger selection of good guys than the pool of guys in college". Meaning, HOWEVER BAD the perceived selection of guys are in college today, it will be WORSE after graduation.
I still maintain that a young woman's best strategy is to search diligently for the best guy she can find in college, and get over any ideas that she will find Prince Charming.
Sure, there are a bunch of Prince Charmings out there. And for each one, there are dozens of pretty girls competing for him, to the point where Prince Charming's most advantageous strategy would be to go with a girl for as long as she's in her "I'll be extra nice so that he will commit to me" stage, and when she tires of him failing to commit, move on to the next girl.
What happened with me was my girl STAYED in the "I'll make an effort to keep him happy" stage. So we've been together for 40 years.
