Levi Strauss Provides ‘Racial Trauma’ Help For Employees Troubled By Rittenhouse Verdict
After Kyle Rittenhouse was acquitted, Levi Strauss tapped a “racial trauma specialist” to counsel employees.
During a riot last year in Kenosha, Wisconsin, then-17-year-old Rittenhouse — acting in self-defense — killed two men and injured a third. Earlier this month, Rittenhouse was cleared of all charges.
Nevertheless, the iconic clothing company took pains to address employees’ “pain and trauma.”
“With the news that Kyle Rittenhouse was not convicted in the shooting of three individuals — two of whom lost their lives — during racial justice protests last year, this is a difficult day for many,” wrote Levi Strauss chief diversity, equity, and inclusion officer Elizabeth Morrison in a letter to staff obtained by the Daily Mail.
“To help promote safety, sharing and to encourage healing, I’ll be hosting a fireside chat and Q&A with Dr. Jamila Codrington, a licensed psychologist and racial trauma specialist in early December,” she continued. “Dr. J and I will talk about the mental and psychical impacts of back-to-back social and racial justice events and trauma coping mechanisms during our discussion.”

The company I work for has done this.
The reality is that all cultures and viewpoints areNOT equally valid. Some are demonstrably harmful to both individuals and civilization.
Back in 1994 I found out Levi Strauss & Company quit donating to the Boy Scouts of America to “punish” the Scouts for barring homosexual adult males from leadership positions. I got rid of all my Levi’s jeans with Wranglers, which turned out to be *far* superior for the farm hand and redneck I was back then anyway. I still won’t buy or wear anything Levi’s or Dockers.
If you want to see Doctor Jamila you’re going to have to cough up money. Your insurance company won’t pay for it. I wonder why?
If I ran the company , I would do the same only... I would then fire everyone who signs up for the counseling.

These jobs were created when liberals cried that there weren't enough minorities serving in corporate boardrooms. Every company has one now, almost exclusively staffed by a black woman. They're nothing more than a tool to diversify boardrooms and give executive positions to people who know absolutely nothing about business, financing, production, or management.
It is an absolutely useless position.
Since race wasn’t an issue in the trial Levi Strauss should bring a psychiatrist in for the entire company. Maybe get out of the jeans business and become an asylum.
