I’ve worked in industrial Japan. I don’t see the redeeming qualities that he does. He complied and continues to comply with any govt mandate. That culture naturally complies, and he’s ok with it. That’s not an American quality.
When he pushes that un-American culture here as superior, that’s not acceptable. That’s not a ‘contribution’ as you call it.
You’re ok with it without thinking through it.
No, I’d be quite critical of countries were they didn’t do the right things as well. I’d be critical of quality control and other aspects in Third World nations where they’ve screwed up… So it’s essentially analyzing things from a simple quality control perspective, the same I would do in any kind of business, and considering 18,000 Japanese Covid deaths in a population 38% of the United States standing at 710,000 deaths, in the hospitalization rates etc., I would say the results quite speak for themselves. The USA is number one, unparalleled, in a great many things but it is not number one in everything… Do you differ?
Please defend your contention that the United States has a better record on mitigating Covid (under Trump/Biden) than Japan under its own conservative government, has from a statistical, analytical, and empirical perspective sans any emotions.
