I had a friend in Brazil who had an issue with her metabolism. She opted for the stomach stapling or whatever they do. She came out of surgery groggy and all I saw from her was a message that she hated being sick. She had a post-op infection set in. She passed within a day of that post. Her boyfriend and entire family were crushed. Miss you, Fabiana.

I have considered such surgery, but I have read that blacks and hispanics tend not to heal as quickly as white patients, and tend to gain weight back more quickly. So, I’m not looking into it for the time being.

I did some substitute teaching until the plandemic mask mandates and state mandated curriculum against my religious convictions were implemented. . . Many students I remember have become overweight if not obese. So sad.
