The new totalitarians running the United States mask their intention for tyrannical uniformity under all the guises we are familiar with. They claim to be “saving democracy.” They claim to support “multiculturalism.”
Democracy is a precious thing. When the Persians invaded Greece, a handful of Greek city-states banded together to defeat the imperialist pretensions of the “Great Kings.” Aeschylus says that the Greek soldiers and sailors rowed to war shouting “eleutheria” (freedom) in the decisive battle of Salamis. Ever since, there have been tremendous moments of heroic sacrifice in the name of liberty and democracy. To our national shame, the propaganda effort of the last year about “saving American democracy” is not one of them.
Following the September 11 Attacks, it was common to hear liberals and Democrats bemoan the erasure of civil liberties by the federal government as the War on Terror ratcheted up. The CIA, FBI, and other apparatuses of the security-surveillance state were assailed for their abuses of Constitutional civil liberties. Now, however, these same people—sans a few—are mostly quiet. In fact, they’re not merely quiet anymore, many openly endorse letting loose the hounds of the security state on fellow Americans whom they deem their enemies.
Overwhelming majorities of Democrats now favor the government censoring political views deemed “false” even at the expense of freedom of speech and writing. Liberal women, in particular, are leading the charge for greater and greater authoritarian censorship. It’s bad enough that a majority of Democrats previously supported tech companies to restrict and censor views, it’s far worse that they are now advocating the full force and power of the state to do so.

The politicians need to be reminded from time to time who works for who.
These aren’t politicians.
They’re despots.
George W. Bush put together a turn key police state and turned the keys over to the Kenyanesian Usurper.
What has happened to us is completely bipartisan, from the refusal to secure the borders to the dissolution of the Constitution to the Big Steal, it was all bipartisan.
So "our Democracy" simply means, "our Democrat party".
Therefore it's actually true that Donald Trump represents a political threat to Democrats' one-party rule over the United States.
When Democrats say they want to "save our Democracy", they want to save one-party Democrat rule.

Far too many people “feel” democracy is a great and noble thing because that is what they were taught. It is what the left programed them to believe.

BUT our laws have to fall within the eternal unchanging constraints He sets and we restate in the Declaration of Independence.
If they do not. They are unconstitutional. They are no law at all. They are void and as if never passed.
Our Republic is constrained by the Laws of Nature and Nature’s God. Government’s sole purpose to to protect our life, liberties, and properties....these self evident truths of discernment (science) and revelation (The Bible) are called out as the ONLY source of legitimacy for ANY government in the Declaration of Independence.

We are suffering now for one and only one reason, and that reason is called Democracy, rule by δῆμος (Demos).
δῆμος is a savage tyrant who thinks only of his carnal needs and has no heart for the people, for civilization, and no concept of the common good.
δῆμος main antagonist, who δῆμος hates the most, is the hero. δῆμος best friend is the anti-hero, and it is no coincidence that when the communist takeover we now confront swung into high gear in the 1960s, movies and other popular entertainment began to glorify the anti-hero. Our first anti-hero President even increased his popularity when he was impeached, as any student of “democracy” would have predicted.
When we had a hero as President, δῆμος was very, very upset, so much so that he became dangerous.
Democracy unbound (which is what we have saddled ourselves with) is a monster from the pits of hell, which always ends in violence. And most Republicans bow before him.
Be prepared.
It was the elite who didn't like Trump, not the demos.

Maybe, but all kinds of professors convinced themselves that Trump was going to be a tyrant because he had big appetites and a big ego, and that soured me on the ancient Greek stuff. It doesn't take modern complexities into account.
The "people" can channel their desires into peaceful and constructive channels. It's elites who want power -- and who are very disciplined and controlled in getting it -- who are the trouble.

“Democracy” as used by the deep state has long been a synonym for communism.
