A young woman who helped her boyfriend to target and murder an Irishman with the horrific drug devil’s breath has had her appeal application rejected by an English court.
In March, Diana Cristea, 20, was convicted of helping her boyfriend Joel Osei kill Adrian Murphy in 2019 with an overdose of scopolamine.
Osei targeted the 43-year-old through the gay dating app Grindr so they could drain his bank accounts and kill him.

A date with Danger.
Well, that young man obviously dindu ‘nuffin.
Walter Slezak played a Nazi in “The Fallen Sparow” and used scopolamine to drug people.
Isn’t scopolamine the truth serum?
Yeah. Was used to sedate women in labor in the past. Still used as an anti nausea drug.
“Scop Dots”. You put one behind your ear and the drug slowly infused into your blood stream to prevent motion sickness. Had an older woman come to the ER off a cruise ship who was acutely psychotic. Turned out it was an extreme reaction to her scopolamine patch.
I believe it was used in THE GUNS OF NAVARONE.
Oh, scopolamine, why didn’t they say so?
Thinking of sodium pentothal?
That too! Ck this out:

Scary stuff!
What I first thought of was the Sherlock Holmes story The Devil’s Foot. Foot, Breath...eh, almost the same.
Yes, I that was a favorite.
I have motion sickness. All the usual things tried. Last was a scopolamine patch. You’re supposed to place behind ear an hour or so before going on the water. I did and shortly I began to experience seasickness. Had ticket already for boat ride, got on, then we all got in the water, to be with the fish in the preserve, and I began to “chum” the fish....horrible. Was sick for 2 days. Didn’t know about the other uses and that I could have died from it....thanks for the additional info.
“The Devils Foot’’ That was nasty story.
Indeed. The only Holmes story that makes you actually shiver, IMO.
What a horrible drug or poison that stuff was. Jeremy Brett was the
perfect Sherlock Holmes, there was no one who so completely played the role of “The Great Detective’’
