My, my, my....we’re still going through what would be a very short FDA trial process involving mountains and mountains of controls, restrictions, assessments and evaluations even for a controlled group test subjects and we have injected the WORLD in less time than almost any other real vaccine that’s ever been. And we get convenient ‘data.’

Yet we get the IHME out WU, the WHO, NIH, CDC, FauXi and all manner of government ‘testers’ out there telling us everything good about the jab and everything bad about all the alternatives - doing their best to stop its use. You (Jab Establishment) can’t even figure out why Africa is experiencing such low Covid infections - or Florida. I don’t believe any of this. You’re trying too damned hard and you threaten too much.

Can’t believe this was from CNN. Does Dr. Faucienstein know about this?

I flat-out don’t trust that the Coof tests are accurate.

I know of too many cases where people with no symptoms tested positive - and unnecessary chaos ensued. These people, and the people who were around them, had to self-quarantine, missing work or school. A positive test result can result in numerous more tests, resulting in more profit for the labs and test kit manufacturers. A vicious cycle.

IOW, since I don’t trust the tests, I don’t trust the reported infection and re-infection rates either.

I've heard from a number of people who got the coof a second time, and I'm pretty sure every single one of them has said that it was worse the second time around.

Variant flavor probably has a lot to do with it.

We'll see what happens.

Anything in the NEJM has to be looked at in terms of how it is supporting government narratives, programs, or corporate interests.

This study is interesting in that it comes from Qatar, is rather limited, and the data seems a little dated.

Data collection stopped in April 21, so it was pre Delta, in fact they mention that it is basically an Alpha and Beta variant study.

"The study has limits. It was done in Qatar, so it's not clear if the virus would behave the same way anywhere else. The work was done when the alpha and beta variant were the cause of many re-infections. There were 621 cases where it was undetermined and 213 from a "wild type" virus. There was no mention of the delta variant, which is now the predominant strain. That could have an impact on the number of reinfections."

Also they excluded people who were vaxed, not sure why.

"To determine how many people got reinfected, scientists from Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar compared the records of people with PCR-confirmed infections between February of 2020 and April 2021. They excluded 87,547 people who got the vaccine."

Is it really that hard to pull this kind of report together? You've got people who are registered as testing positive, so many of those are registered as testing positive twice.

Seems like if you are just looking at one jurisdiction, like Qatar, that you'd have a running count of those numbers in your database, so I don't know why you'd take 7 months to format the report, nor does it seem to be that important or consequential to rise to NEJM publication status.

You don't expect to see a story in CNN supporting this line of reasoning, either.

Odd all around.

a median of 9 months is about the same as most of the vaccines

The trick is, surviving the first infection without spreading the infection to others. Austria has been in the news lately for lockdowns - wonder if there’s a connect, with this story?:

“A prosecutor in the northern Italian province of Bolzano has opened an investigation after one man died and several others landed in intensive care after they reportedly attended a COVID party to try to get sick... the infected person could face criminal charges for knowingly spreading the virus during a state of emergency, which Italy is under...The man who died from COVID was an Austrian who regularly crossed the border to attend parties in Italy, Franzoni said.”

Raven QB Lamar Jackson.

Supposedly tested pos for COVID last year this time, and back in summer or so.

Sick this last week with “lung congestion” they claim is not COVID.

I’ve wondered if this could really have been true that he was sick twice. Hell, you hardly heard about it at all. But then, esp. after this week, I have to wonder if they’re protecting the black guy from criticism.

I mean, unlike Aaron Rodgers, who is white but they’ve made a huge deal out of it. But then Roethlisberger also came up pos.

Rambling, but I wonder about these things as well as my own COVID immunity.

Apparently it takes 7th century savages to do real (20th century) science.

Western nations have moved on to 21st century My Little Pony Science.

0.37% reinfection rate if my math is correct.

I doubt if many of the people who say they had covid for the second time around, actually had it the first time. Unless they have a + antibody test, it could have been any one of a number of respiratory illnesses.

WHO labels new Covid strain, named omicron, a ‘variant of concern’, citing possible increased reinfection risk

https://www.cnbc.com/2021/11/26/who-labels-newly-identified-covid-strain-as-omicron-says-its-a-variant-of-concern.html

No I see why CNN was running that story about reinfection risk.
