Just visited downtown Chicago in June. A few observations.
There were homeless and obviously drug addled/mentally disturbed people walking the streets and causing problems. No response from police who were everywhere.
Street racing down the main thoughfare, whatever that was I forget, right in front of Police. No response.
Police ignoring a particular group of people no matter what their actions. I.E. loud music, street racing, back of trucks with alcohol, gunning engines, stopping in middle of intersections blocking traffic....a few other things.
Heck. I enjoyed Chicago! Great food, great service, good people. Just gotta know the ones to avoid. It’s a damn shame that the Police are handcuffed the way they are. And it was easy to see.
Anyone named Brown here?
Not if lightfoot has any say. Expect her to mourn the loss.
