Kyle Rittenhouse claims ex-lawyer ‘set him up’ for Proud Boys pic
Kyle Rittenhouse claimed his ex-attorney “set him up” for a photo of him posing with purported members of the Proud Boys and making a hand gesture used by white supremacists.
Rittenhouse blasted his former legal team, John Pierce and Lin Wood, saying he didn’t know the “OK” hand signal is now associated with white supremacy and claiming he “didn’t know what a militia was” until after he was arrested.
The 18-year-old was seen making the gesture in a now widely circulated picture taken in a Wisconsin bar and used by the prosecution in the racially charged homicide case against Rittenhouse, who fatally shot two people and injured a third during a confrontation in Kenosha-Wis., last year.
Rittenhouse, acquitted on all charges last week after claiming self-defense, posed for the picture in January while awaiting trial.

Kyle Rittenhouse is a good person from all reports, but he isn’t the sharpest tool in the shed.
He didn’t know what a “militia” is? A gun owner that never read the 2nd Amendment?
Of course Lin is trying to convince you. He is a con man. A life long Democrat who suddenly believed in MAGA? Seriously?

Maybe I didn’t follow it closely enough but I had the impression (from “our side”) that Lin had some sort of track record indicating he could be trusted because we knew he was a “good guy”. I don’t think I’ve seen any evidence that he is anything other than a hard core anti-Trump deep state progressive. I guess The Narrative that Lin was an honest guy just fooled me. I have nothing good to say about him at this point.
And by the way, Sidney Powell has also been presented (by “our side”) as a solid lawyer who would release the Kraken and show the world the terrible corruption of the Deep State. As far as I can tell, she is also a complete fake who has achieved precisely nothing.

Wood signed a [personal note] with actor Ricky Schroder for $150,000 to get Rittenhouse out of jail. What benefit would it have provided Wood to keep a high-profile case behind bars? A kid no less? I can’t think of too many reasons that resonate with the individual I’ve witnessed speak throughout media since 2020.
There are many sides to this story and I doubt we are seeing half. What I’m seeing is a concerted effort to make Lin Wood out to be a either a lunatic, shyster, or both. Personally, until it’s proven, I stick beside a man who publicly proclaims his faith in Christ daily on his Telegram social media. Until he proves to me that he is no better than Jim Baker or any other charlatan, I believe him.
Now those pictures are keepers!
The only opinion that strongly sits with me to this day about the Rittenhouse case is my aversion to his parents. I don’t care what anybody’s stance on gun ownership is or on age to use a weapon. To allow a kid to go into an area with a loaded weapon during riots is stupid at its most generous. To allow a kid to go into an area knowing rioting was going on, is irresponsible even with the kid’s motive of doing good deeds. And I can’t help but believe a lot of stupidity rubbed off.

Quite true. The Left got the FBI off their back by using the media to turn the country against the FBI. We don’t have that tool, and so we’re screwed. As the obviously false flag attempted kidnapping of the Michigan Governor shows, the FBI can do as they please to entrap and jail anyone on our side they desire to.
