If you talk to illegals coming across the Mexican border, they will tell you all about chupacabres. If you talk to the illegal Mexican kids, they will tell you identical stories of encounters with chupacabres. If you talk to Mexican Indians in California today whose ancestors emigrated to Texas a hundred and fifty years ago they will tell you stories of chupacabre they encountered in the night deserts. Two Native American ladies, mother and daughter, I know personally, who saw the chupacabre on their ranch in Texas,, moved to California. I kid you not.. They all tell the same story. My brother, who owns a taxi business for 30 years, , saw one run across a rural road at 2 am in Vermont.. He descibed it to me— Something taller than a coyote, running on two feet with horns and a tail ... I told him it sounded like a chupacabre. Scared the hell out of him... Now he never goes into Vermont late at night alone...without a gun.

“No, the Southern version of a Sasquatch (Bigfoot) is known as a “Skunk Ape.””

Or a Rugaroo, or a Wood-booger

Sounds like the creature from the Genesis song “A Trick of the tail.”

They think we are the cryptozooids.

No, the Southern version of a Sasquatch (Bigfoot) is known as a “Skunk Ape.”

My farm/ranch grandfather told me that name when I asked him about Bigfoot as a kid in ‘65. He had never mentioned the subject but when I asked about Bigfoot he said, “We called them Skunk Apes. They smelled real bad and you would smell them before you would see them. Haven’t seen them since the ‘30s.”
