Sounds like San Franciscan Michelle Tandler is ‘this close’ to seeing the light … take a look:
One of my best friends in SF was burglarized and robbed last week while sleeping.
Two days later she saw three men peering into her backyard. She called SFPD sobbing. They did not come.
"I've never lived someplace where the government just doesn't care about you" she said.

I read something recently that was eye opening. Our justice system does not exist to protect you from the criminals, it exists to protect the criminals from you. Look at the Ahbery, Zimmerman, and Kyle cases. If the justice system as a whole were doing their jobs, none of these incidents would have happened. But who’s in trouble? The people protecting their neighborhoods and communities. My example: if I see suspicious people in my neighborhood, I’ll call the police. But what if there were no police? I would call my neighbors and all of us would arm up and confront them ourselves. I guarantee you our rules of engagement would be much more lax than the police.
They won't. These s*** holes can continue to decline for decades while the residents vote for the left.
College produces leftist fools like an oak tree sheds acorns in the fall.
Remain where you are and stay calm. All is well. Do not move and bring your cultural poison to new people. Shelter in place and remain calm.

San Francisco has become an absolute pit of Liberal dogma overtaking safety, community, and the people who live there. Agendas and propaganda mean more than anything else, and the people are suffering for it.
Keep going.
She should just be able to call the police … she shouldn’t have to lie or play games.
But sadly that is the state of her STATE right now. Especially San Francisco.

You reap what you sow, but even after realizing they are on their own, she still has no interest in protecting herself. Insanity! To be honest, at this point I really don’t give a crap what happens to leftist/liberals in blue state shitholes.
It's like metal detectors at school to stop mass shootings. Doesn't do you any good to detect an armed shooter entering the school if you don't have the on-site weaponry to stop them.
There must be no forgiveness for the Democrats and their crimes in 2020. We must harden our hearts. We must rid ourselves of the Democrats forever. We must not go soft and let them “see the light.” They need to suffer and then they need to either leave my beloved America or die.

You just never knew it until now.
This story makes me think of another reason that natural selection favors empathy. She must have heard and read about other people who had similar horrific experiences. Had she felt anything for them, she might have supported measures to prevent these sorts of things from happening again, to others, or to her. Now, it’s too late.
Official Democrat policy: Just cooperate and accept robbery, car jackings, poarch pirates, rape (including children) and don’t dare defend yourself from murder.
Michelle needs to suck it up.
