Yep, my company is doing the very same. I am being ousted on January 5 after 14 years of exemplary service. My manager said I should try for a medical exemption; however, after speaking with my doctor I have no grounds. She then encouraged me to go for a religious exemption and I told her that I will take it no further. I’ve decided NOT to comply with their “exemptions” as it is no one’s business what my medical history is or my religion. In addition, I decided I do not want to work for a company that is cutting good employees lose without a safety net. It is beyond reprehensible. They only made the mandate known to everyone a week ago. It is disgusting that they are giving those of us will be tossed less than 8 weeks to get things in order. Interestingly, I too, moved South and live a state away from my employer. There is a lawsuit in addressing Biden’s mandate: https://lc.org/newsroom/details/101521-military-federal-employees-and-civilian-contractors-sue-biden

A fellow co-worker who is appalled at what they are doing encouraged me to see an employment lawyer. I am still up in the air on that. I most likely will just retire, earlier than I wanted though. GO BRANDON!!!!!!

I’m reading a lot of that. Last year, remote everything had companies happy to have employees away from the grime, crime, and slime of the office.

Now the leftist ones especially are missing that intimate social control of people you can only get by dictating which little cube of space they can occupy and when, punctuated by their presence leaning into the little cage.

My recommendation ... don’t retire ... make them fire you. That’s my plan.

They and others are implementing a so-called mandate that is not in force... very likely will not survive judicial scrutiny. Makes me wonder if this is a convenient excuse to shed employees in the current economy.
