This is why I’m finishing the restoration of my 67 Camaro. Not going to be able to purchase anything comparable.
But I must say, this electric car dream is doomed to failure. None of the infrastructure exists.
What’s more, a huge, elaborate and mostly efficient system exists to get oil out of the ground and into your car’s gas tank. To simply abandon this network and structure(s) is foolish folly. Show me a battery powered airline fleet and I’ll listen to arguments for electric cars. Until then, just shut the hell up about electric and solar. They (and the Green New Deal) have a place and it’s where the sun don’t shine...SSZ
I’m throwing more resources at my 65 jeep at present. The military dash has been ordered.
K5 is behind it in priority.
The next big blazer job I hope is to get the shell fixed up and painted if one of my dad’s friends who is a really good body guy is interested.
He did a really good job rehabbing the nearly junk body on a jeep of dads. F to maybe C+.
EVs are a fad that will go nowhere, without nuke/gas/coal-fired plants, and you’re right, the infrastructure doesn’t exist, and won’t. And you can’t park those EV firetraps in your garage or within 50ft of a structure.
