I believe he was not vaccinated for Shingles. 57 years old. Very good health up until the shot. Besides the shingles, he complained of not catching his wind while bicycling the hills around Colorado Springs, CO. He finally got an inhaler a few months ago and I think he is closer to his older self now.

I know of a healthy young person who got shingles soon after her first vaccine dose and her doctor hadn’t even mentioned the likely cause (of course).
Shortly after my first shot, I had a wart come up on my finger exactly where I had one 20+ years ago.

I wouldn’t get it anyways. I read up on side effects from the vaccine and there were a LOT of people who had bad reactions.

If you think you have shingles, get to the dr within 24-48 hours and there are anti-viral treatments that lessen the course of the outbreak if they are started early enough.
