You’re missing the point entirely.

I can be physically removed from a privately owned store - nobody is arguing that - but as long as I’m there, I can say what I want.

If a store owner is acting stupidly, the shoppers can tell him so, and express anger while doing so.

Then, if the shop owner has those shoppers removed, he will be proving their point.

But let’s give a more striking example. Let’s say passengers aboard a privately owned ferry crossing Lake Michigan begin a load and angry protest over the owner’s stupidity.

Can the owner silence them? Can the owner throw them in the brig? No. The most he can do is complete the journey and then refuse to do business with them in the future.

Property ownership has no bearing on the right to free speech.

So I guess more and more FReepers are devolving into the mindset they can go in private property with the intent of disrupting a person’s “pursuit of happiness”.

Sort of like junior Antifa and BLM members, I suppose.
