I saw Blazing Saddles in the theater when it first came out. Laughed my a$$ off. Stayed and watched it again. Also Christmas Vacation is a very funny movie and should be on the list.

“Blazing Saddles. Next case.”
Yup and not even close.
The cowards who did this are simply scared shi*less of being cancelled.

Blazing Saddles, hands down...written primarily by Mel Brooks and Richard Pryor. It's not widely know that Richard was a major contributor.
Borat is plain stupid, Cohen is more of a shockjock than a comedian.

No Chaplin, Laurel and Hardy or Mel Brookes. This is a lousy list. I only liked three out of the whole list, and I literally hated several of them. American Pie? Masturbating into an apple pie to find out what sex feels like? Disgusting.

Yep. For me the all-time funniest movie I ever saw was blazing saddles. But then it has to do with the time it was produced and my age at the time.

Correct, I see a lot of us are thinking the same thing. I literally fell out of my seat laughing the first time I saw Blazing Saddles! Another that is great is the first Austin Powers movie.

For anyone, like me, who lived in a fraternity in the 1960s (yes, the 1960s; I’m an Old Fart with only 2/3 of a farter) “Animal House” is the total winner. The drive in scene where the young lass is manually pleasuring her boyfriend totally cracked me up because it reminded me of the “Tale of the Girl with the Golden Arm” that was well known at my alma mater.

Yep.
The ORIGINAL “Producers”.
And for some gender-bending nostalgia and Marilyn, “Some Like It Hot”
