Blazing Saddles
Monty Python and the Holy Grail
.
The clear top two, neither of which made this lame list.

“PC Load Letter? What the f—k does that mean!?”
I laughed so hard at that. We saw that every day on our HP laser printers. Nobody — but NOBODY — knew what it meant. But there it was.

You have no idea how often I say that. LOL! And it’s usually true.

how many times [each film] made us giggle." Divide the number of laughs by the film’s length in minutes, They gave us the rate of laughs number, but not the absolute quantity of laughs number, or the degree of funniness number.

To your excellent point, I saw Monty Python's Meaning of Life in the theater. It's an ok film, probably the weakest of the Python lot.
But when Mr Creosote exploded, I don't think I ever laughed that hard in my life. AND, people were walking out in disgust, which further fueled my laughter. I mean, it is MONTY PYTHON...what were you expecting?
I appreciate that scene even more after learning that Quentin Tarantino said that the Mr. Creosote scene was the only time he had been disturbed by a graphic or gruesome film sequence. What a wuss.

Seriously Sasha Cohen is so overrated at everything. He reminds me of a twelve year old that just got a video camera from the 1980’s.
Tommy Boy belongs in the top five. I don’t think there was one scene that didn’t end up having us rolling.

Bowfinger should be on the list instead of Borat. It is one of Eddie Murphy’s funniest movies, and it makes fun of Hollywood and Scientology.

Oh, that was hilarious. Perhaps it is because it related closely to what I’ve experienced.

For me, the most laughs per minute was the almost forgotten Silent Movie. The creators of this list couldn’t find ANYthing before 1980?! My Man Godfrey is from the ‘30s and has ages well.

Bowfinger should be on the list instead of Borat. It is one of Eddie Murphy’s funniest movies, and it makes fun of Hollywood and Scientology. I loved Murphy's "Trading Places" and "The Nutty Professor". He could have done either film sans plot, just the barbershop scene for the whole movie in the former, and the family table scene in the latter.
