I have long thought that would be the case. We should be a world leader in developing modular, compact thorium or pebble bed reactors.
But we won’t.
My thought is that we lead the world in nuclear power for ships and submarines.
If we can safely power an aircraft carrier that is home for thousaands and has powerful engines and accessories for air craft operations, why can’t that technology be used for small cities.
To hell with the city states that have effectively left America and become European.
