Woo. "Evil white male" ping!

Well - I might agree with the esteemed Chuck D.. except for the fact that Travis shouted out to the crowd to rush the stage.

He’s not wrong. But I’d bet no-one involved was a Christian, a conservative or a Republican.

I'm not going to blame Travis Scott for this, anymore than I'm going to blame "old white guys." Fact is, and as someone who has attended many, many rock concerts, it doesn't take much for a spark to turn into a conflagration. Unruly crowds can be scary. Ask The Who. Ask Pearl Jam. Both very white bands have seen tragedy erupt at concerts.
One of the scariest times in my life was at Red Rocks seeing Megadeth when the very drunk crowd waiting in line for the admission gates to open starter throwing projectiles.
Sometimes bad sh*t happens at these things.
Massive crowds can be very unpredictable. And easily provoked.

“Live Nation, your stock is up. The White Corporate Music Biz keeps cashing in on Black Pain, Trauma and Death. This has to stop yesterday. You’re part of the problem. Grow the f*** up, fix this and let us all LIVE in PEACE.”
+++++++
I have no idea who is to blame, but was open to the idea that he had a point until the very end. There it is: the race card and the obligatory F-word.
