NEVER, EVER trust a company that doesn’t have direct contact information available on their website. Last I looked GoFundMe didn’t have an email address or phone numbers for contact.

Perfect use case for crypto...direct private person-to-person payments w/o extra 3rd party fees. To keep it private get a fresh crypto wallet (via VPN if really paranoid)...do not reuse a wallet address and do not use traditional “KYC” exchanges like Coinbase. (IOW do not tie your crypto addresses to any personal information).

GoFundMe shut down a page that was raising money to support parents fighting the Loudon County, Virginia CRT curriculum.

Rittenhouse will make lots of money in the upcoming defamation cases. Richard’s said he will also be going after the money Lin Wood supposedly raised for Rittenhouse, but kept it for his 501(3)(c) non profit. It was a significant amount of money. Lin Wood is going to lose that litigation based on fraud. He risks getting disbarred because he effectively stole money from Rittenhouse. There is nothing that will get an attorney disbarred than stealing client funds.
Richard has no love lost for Lin Wood; neither does Rittenhouse. Lin Wood should have never angled to be Rittenhouse’s attorney because he doesn’t do criminal defense. Had he just given the money to Rittenhouse, he would have set himself up to represent Rittenhouse in the defamation cases. Lin Wood screwed himself.
When Richard’s was asked if he’d be representing Rittenhouse in defamation cases, he clearly and unhesitant in saying he WOULD NOT because he is a criminal defense lawyer; not a civil lawyer

No attorney is going to take that case. The criminal history of the guys Kyle shot were not admissible. They would be in a civil trial.
