Kyle Rittenhouse, who was 17 years old when he shot three people, killing two, officially got away with murder. A jury of his white peers ruled that Rittenhouse acted in self-defense when he illegally acquired a gun, traveled across state lines, lied about his status as a medic, pointed his gun at protesters, and then used it to kill others.
The verdict is not surprising, if you are familiar with how the criminal justice system works for white people. Wisconsin Judge Bruce Schroeder, who presided over the Rittenhouse trial, consistently made rulings in the best interest of the white gunman.

Before this incident I never knew that travelling across state lines was that big a deal to liberals. I live 30 miles from Mississippi and about that from Florida. I have frequently made trips to both. I believe one time I travelled to both ON THE SAME DAY. I guess the liberals’ headS would explode if they knew that.

Absolutely needs to be sued for libel. Mistal is a former litigator, Harvard uneducated lawyer. His false statements meet all the elements required for libel and he knows it.

This article is way over the top. Based on the evidence, the jury did the right thing.
The “pointed his gun at protesters” was a sore point to me during proceedings.
Prosecutor describe an instance where someone, standing on a vehicle, accused Rittenhouse of “shining a laser at me”, to which the defendant retorted “yeah I did”. Rittenhouse confirmed this incident, later noting that the retort was intended as sarcastic. Prosecutor construed this casual & belligerent exchange as proof of “admitted pointing a rifle at someone”, and repeated the phrase several times during arguments.
This was a misrepresentation which defense lawyers failed to object to. Kyle did NOT “admit to pointing his gun at someone”, he sarcastically agreed (amid a riot, not in court) to the false allegation of pointing a laser, which Rittenhouse DID NOT HAVE. Construing the sarcasm as proof of pointing a gun was profoundly false, as the comment/agreement could only happen if the defendant had something which he demonstrably did not.
Not a big deal, but a notable sloppy point that the defense lawyers should have cleaned up immediately, and doing so likely would have helped defuse the “provoked” accusation that prosecutors fell back on as the remainder of their case collapsed.
I’m holding my tongue about further failure of defense to object on a multitude of points, only because their failure to do so worked out: the prosecution’s case simply didn’t hold up under their own facts.
What Kyle got was justice, by a jury of his peers, the foundation of our law.

Exactly.
Progressive axiom: crime is not a thing. The only “crime” is any act which hinders The Revolution.
Rittenhouse acted to hinder The Revolution by removing graffiti, putting out fires, and rendering aid - doing so while retaining means to resist those fomenting The Revolution, and actively doing so when they attempted to stop him. Hence his crime, and their insistence on conviction for his “crime”.
